Program outline: BIGMAC 3: 2006 EMAC/ANZMAC Research Symposium
Session 1 (9.00 a.m.-10.30 a.m.): Consumer Behaviour as a Field of Inquiry – What Are Academic Researchers Missing?
Session 2 (11.00 a.m.-12.30 p.m.) : Major Marketing Traditions – Where Are We, Where Are We Going, and Where We Should Be Going and Why
Session 3 & 4 (1.30 p.m.-3.00 p.m. 3.30-5.00p.m.) : Service-Dominant Logic – Moving the Debate to the Empirical Arena
The joint EMAC-ANZMAC Research Symposium will take place alongside the last day of the ANZMAC 2006 Conference on Wednesday 6 December 2006. The Research Symposium will reflect the same focus as the Conference with the theme Advancing Theory, Maintaining Relevance. The format will comprise four 90 minutes sessions with invited speakers and panels. Each session will focus on a specific area of marketing with the underlying theme Advancing Theory, Maintaining Relevance, in areas such as consumer behaviour, strategy, services, advertising and communications, and branding.
Limited participation
Participation for the Research Symposium is capped at 80 delegates. A large number of delegates have expressed interest in attending the Symposium and some delegates are wait-listed. Delegates with confirmed registration for this event are invited to review the Program for the Research Symposium.
